Max Gunderson is a former professional soccer player and nationally certified athletic trainer with a deep-rooted passion for player development. A 2013 graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, he earned dual degrees in Athletic Training and Rehabilitative Sciences, blending academic expertise with on-field experience. During his professional career, Max competed in the USL Championship and NISA, representing four teams: Oklahoma City Energy FC (where he also served as a performance coach/player in 2019), San Antonio FC, Austin Aztex, and Los Angeles Force. This extensive playing background—spanning defensive reliability, tactical versatility, and leadership—provides the foundation for his training philosophy. Motivated to give back to the soccer community, Max founded MGDynamics to empower the next generation of athletes. Drawing on his elite-level insights, scientific training knowledge, and commitment to holistic development, he delivers personalized, high-impact programs that build technical mastery, physical resilience, tactical intelligence, and mental strength—preparing players not just for success on the pitch, but for lifelong growth.
